The accident was sudden and completely outside my control. I used to say afterwards it was like an ugly, badly wrapped gift. At the time I could only see the wrapping. It stopped.<\/p><p>What followed was over five years of PTSD, anxiety attacks, and physical pain. My business struggled. My sense of self fractured. The tools I'd always used (working harder, pushing through, achieving my way out) didn't work anymore. There was nothing to push through. There was only the work of survival.<\/p><p>The accident didn't break me. It broke the programme. Not just in relationships. In how I worked. In how I handled money. I'd leave one situation and walk straight into a version of the same one. Different person, same dynamic.
